For more than a decade, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offered through the UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) has provided free tax help to Georgians with moderate incomes, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited-English-speaking taxpayers.
