A Healthy Homes Practitioners course will be offered by University of Georgia Cooperative Extension July 14 – 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Athens, Ga.
The program will be presented through a partnership with the National Center for Healthy Housing. The training will cover how to take a holistic approach to identify and resolve problems that threaten the health and well-being of residents.
This course complements hazard-specific training in lead-based paint, radon, mold, pests and asbestos. It will identify the root causes of health problems in homes.
The course costs $100 and the deadline to register is July 1.
