'Gardening' eyes 'leaves of three' on GPTV June 29

This week, Reeves shows how to distinguish between poison ivy and Virginia creeper. If you don't know the difference between these two common vines, watch the show, or don't touch either one.

Theresa Schrum, deputy director of the Georgia Native Plant Society, tells Reeves how to rescue woodland plants before bulldozers reach a building site. She shows how the GNPS worked with one developer to get permission to save plants.

If you want to grow your own jack-o'-lanterns, you have to plant pumpkin seeds in June. Reeves shows varieties that grow well in Georgia and offers tips on how to grow them.

Finally, he takes a look at lichens and points out that they don't kill the plants they grow on. He explores several forms of lichens.
