Walter Reeves |
On "Gardening in Georgia" Oct. 11 and 14, Kris Braman shows host Walter Reeves how to identify the white grubs gardeners find in their soil. The key to white grubs' identification is -- believe it or not -- examining the bristles on their shiny white posteriors.
Reeves also demonstrates techniques to save seeds for planting next year. All you need to do is add milk. Milk? Finally, if indoor plants crowd your windows, Reeves shows how to build a light stand that supports a fluorescent fixture above the plant leaves. That will keep them happy even in your basement.
