Manure tea? No, it probably doesn't appeal to you. But your garden plants wouldn't be so quick to turn up their leafy noses. On the next "Gardening in Georgia" May 4 and 6, host Walter Reeves will show a sampling of manure teas for use in your yard and garden.
Reeves will explain how to prepare those heavy clay soils, too, to make a better home for your plants. He'll show how to make up the best potting mixtures. And he'll reveal the secrets to pruning the evergreens in your landscape.
Thursdays, Saturdays on GPTV
Don't miss "Gardening in Georgia" on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. or on Saturdays at 10 a.m. on Georgia Public Television. The show is designed especially for Georgia gardeners. "Gardening in Georgia" is produced by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and GPTV.
