Workshop series aimed to help gardeners with limitations

Are your gardening habits constrained because of physical limitations or a lack of time or space? The up-coming Gardening with Limitations class in Putnam County will help you overcome these obstacles.

The Oconee Master Gardeners Association and Putnam County Cooperative Extension are sponsor the class which is the first in a four-part Gardening with Limitations series. The first workshop — focused on garden helpers — is set for Jan. 8, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at The Hut in Eatonton.

Subsequent workshops will be held on Feb. 12, March 12 and April 19. Each class will focus on a set of tips, tricks and strategies that will make gardening easier.

The first class will introduce the latest tools and methods available for limited gardener. All of the products demonstrated will be given away as door prizes.
