The annual South Georgia Native Plant and Wildflower Symposium will be held March 24 at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, Ga.
The day-long event is sponsored by UGA and the Garden Club of Georgia – Camellia District IV. The symposium will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the opening of the day’s plant sale followed by registration at 9 a.m.
Symposium topics will include forest plants of the Southeast and their wildlife uses, landscaping with natives and popularizing native plants. The day will conclude with a walking tour of the UGA Coastal Plain Arboretum at 3:10 p.m.
