UGA experts share composting recipes May 6

As part of National Composting Week, University of Georgia Cooperative Extension agents and Athens Clarke-County Recycling will teach citizens about composting at the State Botanical Garden on May 6 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The class is $12 for nonmembers, $10 for members. All participants will take home a kitchen composter.

Compost bins will be sold May 8 at the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Division from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bins cost $45. The program is sponsored by Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful.
