Southeast Greenhouse Conference June 16-19

ÿThe Southeast Greenhouse Conference and Trade Show will be at the Palmetto Expo Center inÿ Greenville, S.C., June 16-19. Grower associations and Extension Service faculty in seven Southern states sponsor the event. ÿ

In a three-day educational program, nationally renowned speakers will give growers the competitive edge to increase their market share.

The program will focus on greenhouse management and garden center marketing. It's designedÿ to address the special needs of Southern growers. Sessions will feature perennials, annuals, water gardens and selling on the Web.

"Getting Started in the Greenhouse Business, Part 2" will pick up where last year's popularÿ workshop left off. It's a daylong, information-packed program on the business basics of running a greenhouse.

ÿThe trade show boasts more greenhouse industry suppliers than you can find in one place anywhere else in the Southeast. It will have more than 350 booths. For those who'd like to start their own retail outlet, it will feature a demonstration garden center. ÿ

For the seventh year, the event will include a golf outing. This year's tournament will be at the Verdae Greens Golf Club in Greenville. To learn more about the event, or to register on-line, visit the show's Web site at <www.sgcts.org>. Or call 1-877-927-2775 (toll free).
