Following a sponsored lunch, a general session will focus on improving fiber quality in Georgia. Workshop participants will be given a chance to tour the UGA Microgin.
Workshops will cover: weed management, cotton varieties for 2004/05, plant pathology/nematology, fertilizers and soil management, equipment calibration and application for nematicides and maximizing its efficacy, insect management, cotton physiology and market outlook.
