The conference is a result of an agreement between the Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service.
The CSREES provides county extension agents training and materials to support children's environmental health education and outreach. They use material developed by EPA (displays, newsletters, curriculums, videos, booklets, tip sheets).
The program will be in the Atlanta Federal Center, with lodging in the Omni Hotel. It will begin 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9, and end at 4 p.m. Oct. 11.
The fee is $25 if registered by Sept. 26. After that, it's $35. If you have questions about registration, call Jorge Atiles at (706) 542-8860, or e-mail him at jhatiles@uga.edu.
