University of Georgia scientists and others will lead the program. They will provide updates on everything from direct-marketing muscadines to the pollination of the plants to the nutraceutical compounds in the grapes.
The event starts at 9 a.m. on the Griffin campus of the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
Taste Panel, Vineyard Tour
It includes a sponsored lunch and a popular taste panel of muscadine cultivars. And it ends with a 2 p.m. tour of the Georgia Experiment Station vineyards.
The fee is $25 if the preregistration form is postmarked by Sept. 21. It's $30 after that. Couples may attend for $40 (if preregistered by Sept. 21).
