Small Grain, Soybean Expo Planned Jan. 24

Anyone interested in the future of soybeans and small grains in the Southeast should attend the Georgia/Florida Small Grain/Soybean Expo Jan. 24 in Tifton, Ga.

What will 2002 hold for soybeans and wheat? What's the latest on the farm bill? What is biodiesel and does it have a future in Georgia? What new research and varieties can add-value to Georgia's soybean and small grain farms?

University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences specialists and industry experts will answer these questions and more.

Registration is $15 and begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Rural Development Center, off Ext. 64 on Interstate 75. Lunch will be provided, along with door prizes. For more information, call (706) 542-2351.
