Hike and campfire event set at Rock Eagle 4-H Center

Rock Eagle 4-H Center will present the last Saturday at the Rock session of the year on Nov. 19 with a night hike followed by a campfire complete with stories and songs.

The session will begin at 7 p.m. at Rock Eagle 4-H Center’s Natural History Museum. Advanced registration is required and the cost is $5 per person.

Saturday at the Rock programs are set for the third Saturday of each month, excluding December. To register, contact Matt Hammons at (706) 484-2862 or mhammons@uga.edu.

Come early and attend the Art at the Rock festival set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists will exhibit a wide range of talent, from painting and pottery to jewelry and woodcarving. Musicians will perform at the show and homegrown and homemade items will be sold in the show’s marketplace. Food and beverages will also be available.
